Wedding days are some of the most special days for couples. Even better is when a vision worked so hard on comes together as hoped for. Michelle and Steve put so much effort into making their wedding at Alexandrias in Findlay, Ohio special and it was gorgeous. Their family and bridal party were all so sweet and supportive, you could really feel the love throughout the day!
I had the lovely pleasure of knowing Michelle in high school, actually playing volleyball, and being in marching band together! I loved getting to know Steve at their engagement session and wedding day and oh my goodness, what a perfect pairing these two are! I am not sure how many times both of them gave me the disclaimer, “I promise we do love each other!” Steve and Michelle thrive on sarcasm and joking around with each other and honestly it’s the cutest thing.
For their wedding day, we started out at the Findlay Inn to get ready with the lovely ladies. We had so much fun playing with the flower girl throughout the morning and having her practicing throwing flowers! A quick trip over to Riverside Park for a sweet first look followed by family and bridal party portraits followed. The Karkoska’s ceremony and reception were both held at Alexandria’s. The hall has an industrial style to it with exposed brick and celling elements but also brings and elegance with crystal chandeliers and traditional decor.
We were so glad to have a few different time chunks for bride and groom portraits and really had fun with it! The planner at Alexandria’s was so helpful and even let us up on the roof for some portraits overlooking Findlay! We had such a blast running around up there. Another favorite time for portraits was when we were outside under the string lights over Crawford Street! We really were able to have some fun with wedding portraits!
In addition to traditional dances for events, Michelle and Steve played the shoe game and also had their guests wear sunglasses with their date on them and pose for the Tik Tok trend! I loved how packed the dance floor was all night too! Made for an exciting party. This was an absolutely lovely wedding day with such a fun couple!
